A Little School With BIG HEART

A Heart for Children Early Learning Centre is located in Airdrie, Alberta, and offers preschool, junior kindergarten and kindergarten level support and education. We also help special needs children to integrate into each of our educational levels through compassionate, individualized education and therapies.

Our small class sizes allow us to focus on each child's requirements and offers an individualized learning environment that is not found in public school.

We love children, and it shows! Our focus is and always has been on putting children first. We love working with young children of all abilities because of their innocence and ability to grow and learn!

PRESCHOOL

This programme provides children with learning opportunities through play-based programming, small and large group educational activities. Services will be tailored to meet each child’s individual needs and social skills development.

JUNIOR KINDERGARTEN

The junior kindergarten programme offers many learning opportunities through small and large group educational activities. Services are tailored to meet the child’s individual needs and social skills development.

KINDERGARTEN

In Kindergarten, the focus is on all areas of a child’s learning and development. This intensive educational and therapeutic program provides stimulating and challenging activities where children build social relationships and gain independence and decision-making skills in a fun, play-based environment.

Specialized Support

We support children with diverse developmental, communication, and learning needs.

At A Heart for Children, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to be understood, included, and supported to reach their potential. As an Alberta Education-approved Early Childhood Services (ECS) programme, we support eligible children through Alberta Education funding, including Programme Unit Funding (PUF) and Mild/Moderate supports.
